What to do next.
If your truck has broken down, will not start, or is unsafe to drive:

Stay safe
- Move to a safe location, if it's possible and safe to do so.
- Turn on your hazard lights.
- Apply the parking brake.
- Do not attempt repairs beside moving traffic.
- Use warning triangles only where it is safe to place them.
- If anyone is injured or if there is immediate danger, call 000 for Police/Fire/Ambulance.

- Vehicle registration.
- Your location.
- A brief description of the problem.
- Odometer reading, only if safe to obtain.
