4x4 & AWD safety features.
Isuzu trucks have always been renowned for their reliability. With an intelligent system of safety features, you can rely on our trucks now more than ever, to protect you and other road users.
Smarter than your average 4x4 & AWD.
ADAS is a suite of intelligent active safety systems. Each feature works together seamlessly to reduce the chance of an accident or mitigate damage if an accident does occur.
The new 4x4 & AWD range improves on Isuzu’s already class-leading ADAS to change the way trucks keep drivers and other road users safe.
How does ADAS work?
The eyes behind Isuzu’s ADAS is a highly effective dual-lens camera on N Series models and a combination of an optical sensor and a milliwave radar on F Series models. It monitors the forward environment to detect objects such as vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, determine the object and measure its size, distance, and velocity.
Browse all active and passive safety features.
With active safety technology on board, a system of sensors constantly monitor the truck’s performance and surroundings. The aim is to prevent accidents before they happen, but if a collision is unavoidable, the truck's passive safety features help reduce the impact.
