ISUZU TRUCKS EMISSION STATEMENT
WORLD-LEADING TECHNOLOGY SUPPORTING AUSTRALIA’S DECARBONISATION JOURNEY
In Australia, all new heavy vehicles must comply with Australian Design Rule (ADR 80/04), which mandates that vehicles meet Euro VI (or equivalent) emission standards.
This applies from 1 November 2024 for new models and 1 November 2025 for all vehicles. ADR 80/04 requires significantly lower emissions of particulate matter (PM), and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) compared to previous standards, contributing to improved air quality and public health.
Compliance necessitates the installation of more advanced and durable emission control systems by manufacturers such as Isuzu. Isuzu has proactively engineered its MY25 range to meet ADR 80/04 requirements ahead of mandated deadlines, supporting a smooth transition for Australian operators and minimising disruption to fleet operations.
