TRUCK OF THE YEAR: NOVEMBER 2025
The last month of the 2025 Isuzu Truck of the Year Competition saw a solid round of entries, including trucks from freight, earthmoving, plumbing, waste, and a retired couple enroute around Australia.
The final monthly winner for 2025 is Bin Master Skips from Albion Park in NSW with their eye-catching FYJ 300-350.
BIN MASTER SKIPS
Bin Master Skips is a family-owned and operated skip bin hire company servicing the Illawarra region down to Nowra in the Shoalhaven NSW.
They’ve recently purchased a brand new MY25 NQR to complement this FYJ which “really boosted our capability in the industry and was a huge step forward for a young business,” said owner Jaydn Clarke.
“It turns heads whenever it’s seen on the road, kids love it!”
Congratulations Bin Master Skips!
LUKE’S LOCAL FRIEGHT
Luke Barber’s NPR 300 has worked hard over the past five years, “tackling every terrain, from highways to creek crossings just to get to our customers”.
His Isuzu is an icon in Wauchope NSW region.
“When people see it, they know exactly whose truck it is and who we are catering for,” said Luke.
NEWTON CARTAGE
Owner Brook Newton respects the reliability and performance of his trusty NKR 200. “My little N series is just amazing, it feels bullet-proof and the quality of the truck itself is second to none.
“Its performance when carting earth or other resources is extremely good, and it tows a mini excavator just as well!” says Brook.
NEXTGEN FREIGHT
This is Matt Bauer from NextGen Freight, SA’s first truck, an FVL 1400. After purchasing the truck when starting his freight business, Matt said that every day on the road is a new lesson.
“I take care of my truck because it is more than a vehicle, it is my investment and my future,” he said.
GETTA PLUMBER
Lou Giaccio from Enoggera, QLD has entered his 2022 FRR Tipper which he purchased when starting his new earthmoving business, Getta Digger.
Already owning the awesome 2020 NPR Tradepack, choosing another Isuzu was a no brainer, according to Lou.
“The FRR Tipper has become the heartbeat of the business – transporting machinery, handling dirt removal, and performing with the smooth drive and strong power that never lets us down,” said Lou.
“It doesn't just support our work, it's helping us build our future.”
PETER CAMERON
Retired couple Peter Cameron and his partner have entered their NPR 75-190 for the November Truck of the Year round. The couple plan to set the truck up to transport their 1930 Model A Ford as well as towing a caravan as they set sail to the 2026 Model A Ford National event in Albany WA.
TIMMY’S TONKAS
Timmy’s Tonkas is a family-owned excavation business in Agnes Water QLD and has entered their top-notch NPS 300 4x4 Tipper for “the simple fact that it’s an Isuzu and it looks awesome!”
“Combined with reliability and being a 4x4 tipper, I love it,” said owner Timothy Stiles.
